Line Drying tips

Check your washer for hang dry setting - makes a HUGE difference
Use liguid detergent, sometimes all of the powdered detergent doesn't dissolve. Less solids in the waste water stream is better.
Don't use fabric softener - only activates in the heat and tumble of the dryer
Best to do on a sunny, slightly windy day.
You can line dry inside as well.
Hang in a manner in which they might be folded.
Shake most items to get as much wrinkle out as you can before hanging. Flatten socks in pairs that will be joined.
Don't crowd your line (if you have parallel lines - you need good circulation or the ones in the middle will just hang there and get no movement from the breeze - stiff stuff!
For softer clothes - leave out all night - take in as soon as the dew dries!
Pop towels in the dryer for a few minutes if you want fluffy...some ladies like a stiffer towel - better exfoliator, also more absorbent!
Take clothes in and fold or hang while still hot from the sun - finger crease pants, shape collars, sleeves...
If there is lint, fuzz, or hair still on the clothes, put them in the dryer on a 'no heat' setting for a few minutes.
Oh, your clothes will smell like whatever is nearby - pine trees...flowers...tomatoes! **************
